Major liquor companies have huge EXPO '09 presence,
with even bigger plans in the works for 2010

expoliquorsponsorFor the past several years, the Annual Gentlemen's Club EXPO has featured appearances by many of the major liquor companies.  But at no time in the history of EXPO have this many major liquor brands stepped up to the plate to show their support of the EXPO and the adult nightclub industry.

Says Ed Anakar, Director of Operations for the Rick's Cabaret club chain (RCI Entertainment): “One of the most important elements in the success of the Gentlemen’s Club EXPO  this year was the active participation of some of the leading liquor companies in the world as sponsors.  We had great support from Diamond Vodka, Remy Martin’s Louis XIII cognac, Remy Cointreau, Belvedere Vodka, Leblon Cachaca, Bacardi Rum, Russian Standard Vodka, Don Q Rum, Armand de Brignac Champagne, McCormick Distilling, Pernod Ricard and others. These firms are demonstrating their understanding of the very close relationship between alcoholic beverage marketing and the gentlemen’s club industry, particularly when they are breaking new brands and trying to build a buzz among a very influential family of consumers. We are grateful for their support and look forward to extending our co-marketing efforts in the future.”

The following liquor companies had a substantial presence at EXPO '09, either as a Tradeshow exhibitor, an EXPO sponsor, or both:

ANHEUSER-BUSCH (12-time EXPO Title Sponsor)

DIAMOND BEVERAGES (Diamond Standard Vodka; a new EXPO Title Sponsor)

MILLER/COORS

BACARDI (Grey Goose & Dragon Berry)

LEBLON (Cachaca)

REMY COINTREAU USA (Pipe-Heidsieck Champagne)

DON Q RUM

PERNOD RICARD (Absolut Vodka and Perrier Jouet Champagne)

orzel1Let’s face it, right or wrong, adult nightclubs have fought and will continue to fight a negative stigma from corporate America because of the titillating (pardon the pun) type of entertainment they offer, even though, like every other type of nightclub, they are in the “hospitality” business, not the “adult” business...
