| Feature Focus: Brandi Morgan |
Brandi Morgan can’t turn back time, but by the looks of her you’d think she could stop it in its tracks. Dancing for six years with a reputation that only harmonizes her figure, Brandi has been silently inducted into that rarefied class of feature entertainers who are commonly confused with fashion models. Hailing from (but definitely not belonging to) the Amish empire of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country in Lancaster, Morgan enjoys life’s tranquilities when not being booked in clubs across the country by such agencies as Pure Talent, Continental, A-list Features and The Lee Network. Career-wise, Brandi has been outside our realm but not far from the collective radar by appearing in Playboy, Penthouse, Gent, Club and Leg Action Magazines, and by being seen on the Hot Body Channel and Danni.com. She was also awarded “Most Beautiful Face and Best Breasts” at the 2009 Exotic Dancer National Championships in Atlanta, and is a multilple nominee for ED’s “Club Favorite Entertainer of the Year.” “I’m a no-surprise feature; I will show up, I will look like my photos if not better, my shows are straight and I have great costumes,” says Brandi. “Like any club executive, I’m a professional the whole way down the line, and I treat a club’s staff, their house mom, the DJs and the dancers with the respect they deserve.” ED: Sometimes there is an unfair distinction made between the features who strictly dance and those who dance and do films. Being part of the former, do find it a hindrance—or just flat-out annoying—to your career that some club owners may be hesitant to book you when they find out that you just ... dance? BRANDI: I don’t consider myself just a dancer because I am an established magazine cover girl and centerfold model. And I have done some video and Internet work, while also participating in the Exotic Dancer Nationals contest, so I feel my resume is pretty diversified in that respect. Now, I realize this puts me in a different category than adult film stars, but I’ve never found it to be a hindrance. Besides, not every feature is right for every club. That’s why there are so many varieties (of entertainer) to choose from. ED: You’ve been nominated for ED’s “Club Favorite Feature” Award several times. What does it take to be a “club favorite?” BRANDI: Club owners, operators and staff see that not only am I sensible and down to earth, but also take my chosen profession seriously. I’ve been a (Club Favorite) nominee four times, and I know that the only way club owners are happy is if their customers are happy, and I’m good at that. — Kristofer Kay To book Brandi Morgan, contact your favorite agent. |
